Artist created ceramic teapot, emerald green koi fish lid.  Hand-thrown on a potter's wheel, this stoneware piece features a rich, multi-tonal forest green glaze (reminiscent of traditional Japanese Oribe ware). The standout feature is the meticulously hand-sculpted lid, featuring a Koi fish leaping from a water textured surface complete with delicate bubbles.  Artisanship & Details The Lid: Features a highly detailed figural Koi/Goldfish handle. The glaze breaks beautifully over the scales, highlighting the texture.  The Spout: Professionally faceted and angled for a clean, drip-free pour.  Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing.
