Vintage Mexico Marked 950 Mosaic Inlay Belt Buckle 2.5” Defective Repair

Beautiful handmade vintage oval belt buckle featuring intricate multicolor mosaic inlay with stone- and shell-like pieces, a stylized figure/mask, and stepped pyramid motif.  The reverse is stamped 950 along with an additional partially legible maker/origin mark. Metal content has not been professionally tested, so this is being sold as marked 950 rather than guaranteed silver purity.  Measurements  * Approx. 2.5” wide  * Approx. 2” tall  * Weight: approx. 1.7 oz / 48 g  IMPORTANT — DEFECTIVE / NEEDS REPAIR:  This buckle is defective because the small belt prong/tongue on the back is missing. It cannot function normally on a belt in its current condition and will require repair or replacement of the missing prong. Please review the close-up photos of the back carefully.  Otherwise, the decorative mosaic remains striking and displays well. Vintage wear includes patina, scratches, discoloration and surface wear consistent with age.
