Floral English cutting board

This is a vintage Pimpernel cork-backed placemat, made in England in the mid- to late-20th century. It was used as both a placemat or lap tray within a traditional English dining set. The tray itself is cream colored, with a lovely Victorian-style floral border. It's made of a heat-resistant hard surface layered over a thick cork backing, making it both durable and practical. This tray would still work well as a functional piece, but also would stand out beautifully hung on the wall or propped up against the counter.   15.75” x 11.5”
