Description
Slingerland is most famous for its Radio King.
This appears to be a reissue model of the Radio King, a legendary single-ply snare drum, produced after 2003 (Conway badge).
Although it's a reissue, the sound is distinctly Radio King, with a rich, open tone full of overtones.
The stick saver hoops with the logo offer a perfect balance that isn't too tight, providing a soft, warm sound that blends well with music, yet maintains the fat, impactful presence unique to the Radio King.

The heads and snare wires have been replaced.
I've forgotten the brand and model of the snare wires, but I believe they were a high-quality set recommended by the shop.
