Vintage Mid-Century Lily of the Valley Brooch Brushed Pewter-Tone Estate Pin

42.00 $
Description
A beautiful vintage Lily of the Valley botanical brooch sourced from a historic Marietta, Georgia estate. This mid-century piece features elegant, sweeping brushed metal leaves and three-dimensional, dangling bell flowers with a gorgeous, naturally oxidized patina. Though unsigned by a maker, the back carries a romantic piece of history: a custom, hand-engraved monogram featuring the initials Hj and EF belonging to the original owner. The metal is substantial and weighty (likely pewter or a high-quality cast pot metal) and secures with a standard mid-century rollover safety clasp. The Lily of the Valley is the birth flower of May and traditionally symbolizes sweetness and a return to happiness, making this a perfect meaningful gift or a unique addition to a vintage jewelry collection. Excellent vintage condition. The metal has a beautiful, natural, dark gray patina typical of aged pewter and mid-century base metals. The clasp is secure and fully functional.
