Richelieu peals are made of glass and are guaranteed not to peel. This statement is right off a Richelieu product card. This brooch is pre-owned vintage from the 1950’s-60’s. Peals are different tones of white. There’s 3 clear rhinestones tucked away inside the pearl spray, one rhinestone appears darker than the other 2 white ones because it’s permanently shadowed by a long leaf. The gold tone is brilliant with no tarnish. Darker areas are an illusion from the brushed satin texture of the finish. 4” long and would look stunning on a wide lapel. Signed Richelieu
