Genuine Alexander the Great Drachm in 14k yellow gold filled Pendant. Authentic ancient Greek silver coin, professionally set in a handcrafted gold bezel with four prong wraps and a wide bail. Certificate of authenticity included. The coin is an Ancient Greek silver  Drachm from the Macedonian Empire, struck under Alexander the Great between 336-323BC. The coin features an obverse of Alexander as Hercules, wearing the Nemian lions head dress. The reverse features Zeus seated in a throne. The pendent was 100% hand made in America by an expert jeweler and is comprised of 14 karat yellow gold filled material. Gold filled material is similar to solid gold but a fraction of the price while being substantially superior to gold plated material, as it will not wear off or change color. The necklace pictured is not included  THE COIN Obverse: young Heracles wearing the lion skin headdress, facing right. Reverse: seated Zeus holding an eagle and scepter, with Greek legend. THE SETTING 14kt gold plated bezel with a substantial bail that accepts chains up to 4mm thick. Wears beautifully on anything from a fine cable chain to a heavy rope chain.
