One brooch is oval-shaped, featuring a gold-toned base, faux pearls around the inner perimeter, and pink rhinestones around the outer perimeter. The second brooch is heart-shaped, also with a gold-toned base and faux pearls, and clear rhinestones. These brooches are in good condition and are from the mid-20th century, a period known for this style of costume jewelry. Similar brooches featuring heart and double-heart designs with rhinestones and pearls were popular in the 1950s. They could be worn as a set or each worn individually.
