Vintage handmade embroidered folk-art pillow cover, approximately 14 x 14, featuring a highly detailed colorful community cooking scene. The front is densely hand embroidered with stylized women preparing round flatbreads/food over open cooking fires, along with additional figures in the background. Bright green, blue, yellow, purple, red and orange embroidery gives the piece a distinctive African / East African folk-art aesthetic.
