Vintage Grandmother’s Flower Garden Quilt 70x80 Green Floral Cottage

A wonderfully cheerful vintage Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt, measuring approximately 70” x 80”. The top is filled with individually pieced floral blocks in an eclectic mix of vintage prints—tiny florals, stripes, geometrics and soft solids—all set against a beautiful seafoam/green background with a sunny yellow accent border. The mix of fabrics gives this quilt so much personality and makes it feel like a true one-of-a-kind textile. The pale yellow backing beautifully complements the colorful front. Polyester fill. This is a well-loved vintage quilt showing its history. There are several areas of fabric loss/holes, including some larger openings where the batting is exposed. Some polyester filling has also been lost in these areas. Additional age-related wear may be present throughout. Please review all photos closely, as they are an important part of the condition description. Despite its wear, this is such a charming old quilt—the beautiful colors, varied fabrics and visible history give it wonderful character. An especially pretty piece for a vintage textile collection, cottage display, layering at the foot of a bed, or for someone who appreciates quilts preserved with their age and story intact. Approx. size: 70” x 80” Fill: Polyester Condition: Well-loved vintage condition with multiple areas of fabric loss/holes and some loss of filling. Sold as pictured.
