Edwardian antique 14K Gold Shell Cameo Diamond Habillé Ring Size 6 JR1988

Elegant antique 14K yellow gold cameo ring dating to the early 20th century, featuring a finely carved shell portrait of a woman in profile. The cameo is “habillé,” or jewel-adorned, with a tiny diamond-set heart necklace applied at the neckline. The oval portrait is framed by a decorative gold setting with floral and shell-like shoulders, giving the ring a distinctly Edwardian to early Art Deco character.  The shank is hallmarked 14K. Comparable period cameo habillé rings with genuine diamond accents are documented from the 1910s–1920s, making the jeweled necklace detail especially desirable.
