Vintage mid-century English tea tin featuring charming traditional fox hunt and equestrian scenes against a rich metallic blue and teal background. Decorated throughout with riders on horseback, hunting hounds, a fox tucked beneath a tree, birds, flowers and foliage, with cream, blue and gold details and decorative gold scroll borders. Hinged lid opens to a metal interior embossed “CONTAINER MADE IN ENGLAND.” Likely dates to approximately the 1950s–1960s and would make a wonderful addition to a vintage tea tin, English country, equestrian, fox hunt or horse-themed collection. Pre-owned vintage condition with authentic age-related wear including scratches, scuffs, edge wear, areas of finish loss and scattered oxidation. Interior also shows scratches and wear from use. Please review all photos closely for condition. A beautiful piece for display or repurposing as decorative storage.
