Description
Pair of vintage Ball “Ideal” clear glass canning / storage jars, each in the 1-quart size. Both feature the embossed Ball script logo, “IDEAL” lettering, original-style wire bail closures, and fitted clear glass lids. One jar also shows “Made in U.S.A.” embossing beneath the Ideal mark. These old wire-bail jars have wonderful farmhouse character and make attractive display or dry-storage containers for a vintage kitchen, pantry, or country-style decor. Estimated Age: Approximately mid-20th century; I would avoid assigning a narrower date without examining the specific embossing and construction more closely.
