These vintage equestrian riding breeches (jodhpurs) are a classic piece of mid-20th-century tailoring made by Nudelman Brothers, a renowned uniform and custom clothing manufacturer based in Portland and Seattle. About the Manufacturer Founded in 1904, Nudelman Brothers officially formed their partnership in 1917 and established a prominent storefront in Portland in 1920. They specialized heavily in high-quality uniforms, catering to the US military, law enforcement, marching bands, and the Pacific Northwest's premium equestrian market. Tapered Calves: Designed to fit tightly inside tall riding boots, avoiding bulk.Buttoned Ankles: Features a traditional button-up lower leg closure rather than a modern zipper or Velcro. Durable Construction: Tailored out of a robust twill or heavy cotton canvas designed to withstand friction during horseback riding.
