An antique 8-piece set of solid sterling silver 5.5” five-o’clock teaspoons / dessert spoons manufactured by the prestigious Whiting Manufacturing Company around 1875. Designed by iconic silversmith Charles Osborne, this highly collectible Arabesque pattern showcases a striking neo-Moorish Aesthetic Movement style, heavily detailed with an ornate standing griffin, chased scrolls, and floral accents.  This specific set features an incredible layer of historical provenance, stamped on the reverse by the luxury historical retailer C. Preusser & Bro., an upscale high-end jewelry house operating in Milwaukee, Wisconsin during the late 19th century.   The front cartouches are beautifully personalized with a sweeping, stylized period-correct monogram H. Perfect for historical flatware collectors or an exquisite addition to a classic afternoon tea table setting.
