Features of the Skupper Thru-Hull Kit
This kit allows you to easily convert your fish finder's transducer (transmitter/receiver), the heart of the fish finder, from an in-tank installation to a thru-hull installation. Many pleasure boats use the inner-hull or direct-mount method. However, with these installation methods, the hull bottom (FRP, etc.) is sandwiched between the transducer and the seawater, causing ultrasonic attenuation. This prevents the fish finder from fully utilizing its high-sensitivity detection and special functions.

The Skupper Thru-Hull Kit avoids this ultrasonic attenuation caused by the hull bottom, allowing you to maximize the functionality of your fish finder.

Furthermore, because it utilizes the structure of the livewell drain hole (skupper), it can be easily attached and detached on any boat as long as the specified skupper is installed. It can also be easily removed when not needed, or if marine organisms like algae attach to the transducer.
