Thank you for viewing Olive Yaen! We are always thinking about yaen that are durable, beautiful, and reliably catch squid.

Spring squid season is here!
This is a basic straight yaen that is perfect for large squid.

Since it's part of the Jumbo series, it's exceptionally reinforced!
This is a jumbo straight yaen for large spring squid, with two vertical shafts, added diagonal struts, and a firmly reinforced horizontal main shaft.
It's a reliable yaen that progresses steadily at a shallow angle, regardless of wind or waves.

Includes line detachment prevention.
Size: 41cm length, 13g weight.
Hooks: Owner Kakebari (L) with barbs.

Handmade with care by the creator of Olive Yaen (self-proclaimed fishing master (lol) (husband)). For over ten years, I've been catching various sizes of squid with my own handmade yaen. Through repeated improvements, I aim for yaen that catch more reliably.
Thank you for your consideration.
