Description

Please read the description carefully before considering your purchase.

This is an iPod Classic 80GB MB147J that has been LBA48 modified.
A plastic case is included.

The battery appears to be degraded, so replacement is recommended.
Please refer to the photos for the condition, including scratches.

The hardware itself is 6th generation. This model is LBA24, and even with SD card conversion, it has a capacity limit of 128GB. However, by updating to the 7th generation firmware, it has been LBA48 modified, removing that limitation. This allows for capacities over 128GB without needing to install Rockbox.
For reference, I have included a photo of it with a 160GB HDD installed. You can see that the full capacity is recognized. (If it remained LBA24, only up to 127GB would be recognized.)
The currently installed HDD is unstable, so please consider purchasing with the intention of upgrading to a larger capacity.

The photos were taken to show the device in a synchronized state for operational confirmation. It will be delivered initialized.

When connected to iTunes, you will likely be prompted to update the firmware to 2.0.4. However, there is information suggesting that 2.0.2 is more stable. I tested this on another unit and did not encounter any issues, but please decide for yourself whether to update.

For price negotiations, please request a price increase within a reasonable range. I will consider the current market price and decide whether to approve it.
(Some people request drastic price reductions of several thousand yen; please consider carefully if that is within a reasonable range.)
