【Wiki Information】
Santana, centered around guitarist Carlos Santana, is also the originator of incorporating Latin percussion into rock music.
The predecessor was the Santana Blues Band, formed in San Francisco in 1966.
Later, they changed their name to Santana and debuted after signing with Columbia Records in 1969.
Around the same time, they performed at the Woodstock Festival, which became a major topic of discussion. Greg Rolie was a member at the time.
Jingo from their first Latin rock album became a hit.
Their second album, Abraxas (1970), reached number 1 on Billboard's album chart. Black Magic Woman became a rock classic.
Other well-known popular songs include Oye Como Va and Evil Ways.
