This is an exhibition catalog for the renowned Japanese potter and Living National Treasure, Ishiguro Sōmaro. I purchased it during a visit because I love pottery.
Ishiguro Sōmaro, who had no specific master and studied Chinese pottery of the Song dynasty on his own, built a unique world of ceramics. He was recognized as one of the first Living National Treasures in 1955.
