■ The Great series is a vintage model that was widely distributed from the 1970s to the 1980s.
Tomoe Soroban is a long-established manufacturer founded in 1920 (Taisho 9), and this Great model was positioned as a higher grade version of the Standard, which was particularly popular for educational and office use during the Showa era.
■ Sales status of 15-digit models
Currently, 15-digit models under the name Great are not sold new.
■ 15-digit models are still popular among beginners learning the abacus and for brain training due to their convenient size for carrying.
