Hand-painted porcelain creamer and saucer set from Japan features an exquisite Moriage technique with raised gold beading and floral accents. The delicate purple violets are complemented by green leaves and turquoise-colored enamel dots, all set against a pale celadon or mint green ground. Heavy gold gilt borders and a decorative handle add a touch of elegance to this vintage set. Note that there is a small chip on the rim of the saucer and some wear to the gold gilding consistent with age.
