Made in Sheffield, England, this decorative Victorian-style sugar scuttle is crafted from EPBM (Electro Plated Britannia Metal) and features an elegant beaded rim, engraved floral motif, ornate scroll handle, and pedestal base. The underside is marked HF & Co EPBM with pattern/design number 957. Harrison Fisher & Co. operated in Sheffield from the late 1890s into the early 20th century. Originally intended for serving sugar cubes, this piece also makes a lovely display item, centerpiece, or addition to a silverplate collection.
